So if you need/want to use a bash shell and your stuck or choose to be on a windows box. Heres what you need to do it.

http://msysgit.github.io/

I noticed when i ran the installer that it didnt add the correct path into my environment, so none of the scripts run by default.

If your in windows 8 just type in environment when your on the main windows screen, and you will be able to edit your path settings. Make sure that this one is added.

C:\Program Files (x86)\Git\bin

Thats it, you can now run a bash shell.
