History
This name was proposed by Clara Jones of Kurri Kurri in response to the Mangrove Mountain Bicentennial Naming Proposal. (Jones C of Kurri Kurri naming proposal form undated)
Description
A creek which rises in an area 0.3 km NW of the junction of Murrays Run Road and Walkers Ridge Road. It is about 5.1 km in length and flows in a SE direction into Wollombi Brook.
Origin
A spring forms the headwaters for this watercourse. The spring rises in an area which contains a large flat rock and consequently is known to the locals as Flat Rock. (Jones C of Kurri Kurri naming proposal form undated)
