Pesented to Board on 2 April 1973 as Preston Park as recommended in surveyors report. Deferred to obtain more information during this time spelling corrupted and eventually assigned with `s`.
Description
A reserve on the Princes Highway at Engadine. It is bounded on the south-west by Engadine Avenue and on the north-west by Preston Avenue.
Origin
Named after an early settler of the district. At least one member of the Preston family still lives in Engadine. (Letter from Sutherland Council 7 February 1974).
