Description
A waterfall in Repentance Creek N of Condong Falls and about 1.5 km WSW of the village of Upper Coopers Creek. Total drop 400 feet.
Origin
It is said that the first postmistress Mrs Florence Reid misheard the name Minon and when asked to suggest a name for the post office proposed Minyon for `high and lofty`. It could also be related to Minyung the name of a vanished Aboriginal tribe. (Place Names of the Richmond Region. 1983. p.32)
