History
Name first appeared on 1981 Bellingen 1:25 000 Second Edition Map.
Description
A non perennial watercourse rising on Irishman Ridge about 6 km west-south-west of Bellingen (town) and 3 km west-north-west of Sunny Corner (rural locality). It flows generally north for 600 m to its junction with Kalang River.
Origin
The gully flows through land previously owned by long time resident Edward Joseph Lovell (..........-..........) in the early 1900s. His descendants still live in the area. (Jim Lovell son phone call of 1 November 1999).
