History
This reserve is part of an area unofficially known as `Windarra Reserve` or `Windarra Avenue Reserve`.
Description
A reserve at Narwee located between Karne Street and Penshurst Road. It occupies lots 4-8 of DP 746273.
Origin
Richard Podmore (......1773 - ......1843) enlisted as a Private in the New South Wales Corps in 1789. He was probably the first European to settle on this land when in 1808 he was granted 100 acres. The property was sold to Robert Gardner in 1819. (Larcombe F A `Change and Challenge` and Gillen M `The Founders of Australia`)
