Description
A swamp about 5 km SW of Black Stump Tank and about 10 km ESE of Lake Gunbar.
Origin
The tank was so named because a teamsters wife was burned to death near here and he is reported as having said When I returned to the camp my wife was dead - she looked just like a black stump.
