History
Nominated by the Berowra Bushrunners group who occasionally see wallabies on a track crossing this creek and called the track the Wallaby Run. Result of Berowra Catchments naming competition.

A creek about 1.5 km in length which flows west from Clinton Close Berowra Heights into Berowra Creek.
Meaning
The word banggarai means swamp wallaby.
