History
Name proposed by Mrs Martin through the Mangrove Mountain Districts Community Group. Supported by the Darkinjung Aboriginal Council Gosford Council Forests and NP&WS.
Description
A creek which rises in Part of Por 82 close to the western side of Bloodtree Road and 4.2 km NE of the junction of Wisemans Ferry and Waratah roads. It is 5.0 km in length and flows in a generally NW direction into Warre Warren Creek.
Meaning
Darkinjung word for eaglehawk.
Origin
Aboriginal. From oral history of the Darkinjung people as submitted by Mrs Martin through the Mangrove Mountain Districts Community Group.
