Description
A reserve bounded by Mill and Bold streets Apex Park and Camden Haven Inlet Laurieton. It was Crown Reserve No. R8224 which was notified on 12 January 1889.
Origin
Named after a family which resided in the area since the 1880s. Their early ancestors had a home in the middle of what is now Mill Street. Later residences were close by. Their mill was in the block adjoining Mill Street. Two of the family died in the mill sometime before 1900. They also owned and milled the canal development area.
