History
Name proposed by Mrs Martin of the Mangrove Mountain Districts Community Group. Supported by the Darkinjung Local Aboriginal Land Council Gosford Council Forests and NP&WS.
Description
A gully beginning in Part of Por 79 about 3.7 km NW of Popran Trigonometrical Station. It is 1.8 km in length and flows in a generally westerly direction into Bromfield Creek.
Meaning
Believed to be Darkinjung word for koala.
Origin
Aboriginal. From oral history of the Darkinjung people as submitted by Mrs Martin through the Mangrove Mountain Districts Community Group.
