A trig station about 2km N of Dwyers Hills and about 4km ENE of Ponds Mountain. TS7196
Origin
This station is named after the pioneer/squatter who took up a conditional lease of 1300 acres in this area. Mathew Armour [1801 - 1880] was born in Scotland and arrived in Australia to take up this land in the early 1860s.
