History

Name submitted by M Lawrence through the Mangrove Mountain Districts Community Group. Supported by the Darkinjung Aboriginal Council Gosford Council Forests and NP&WS.

Description

A creek which rises in Lot 2 of DP 574292 about 0.8 km S by E of Mangrove Trigonometrical Station. It is 3.0 km in length and flows in a south-westerly direction to enter the waters of the reservoir formed by the impounded waters of the structure on Mooney Mooney Creek unofficially known as `Mooney Dam`.

Origin

The Robinson family were the first people to clear and farm this land. They are now deceased. The names `Charles Robinson` `E A Robinson` and ` H S Robinson` appear besides the portion numbers for purchasers of portions 39 76 and 21 shown on the map of the Parish of Narara. The creek flows through these portions.
