History
The name Baileys Union Park was in common use and Council resolved in May 1996 to formally adopt the name.
Description
A triangular park on the corner of John and Campbell Streets at Singleton. It is a picnic ground occupying Lot 3 of DP 755269 and is Councils Reserve No 13.
Origin
The site was previously used as a livestock and produce market which was called Baileys Union. Bailey is a family name and descendants of the earlier Baileys are auctioneers in Singleton. (See file GNB4356)
