hide the first h3 tag on the page with css

in case you want to target the first item on a page and hide it or change it with css.

target first item css with :first-of-type

the :first-of-type selector allows you to select the 1st item of that type in the target container. in the following example i can target the 1st <p> tag and make the text bold.

The :has() CSS pseudo-class represents an element if any of the selectors passed as parameters (relative to the :scope of the given element) match at least one element.
:has css reference
