install cmatrix on mac m1

For some reason i thought the mac would have apt or apt-get to install packages, but apparently not.

Here is how you can install cmatrix a matrix emulator or other unix type terminal apps on mac m1.

Install homebrew.

Once homebrew is installed you can now use brew and then package name to install them in your terminal.

to install cmatrix just type

brew install cmatrix

to install htop

a nice colour version of top to see what resources your mac is using

brew install htop

easy.

then just run them in the terminal with cmatrix and htop commands.

HTop

Look at that loading... seems to be running fine tho.

The problem with hoarding is you end up living off your reserves. Eventually, you’ll become stale. If you give away everything you have, you are left with nothing. This forces you to look, to be aware, to replenish. . . . Somehow the more you give away, the more comes back to you.
