add ssh keys on your linux box in 10 seconds

Here i was typing in the ssh password over and over when connecting to ssh, when i could have just typed this one command and had my ssh keys copied to my linux box!

What was i doing all that time! :)

Yes this is the command.

This is if you have already genetrated ssh keys on your local machine you are using to connect.

ssh-copy-id username@remote_host

where your username is the one you use to ssh into your linux box, and the remote_host is your linux box domain name or ip address.

Yep thats it, run that it copies the key, you can connect via ssh into the box... i know too easy!

Update: Also has a windows version of ssh-copy-id here that can be installed via chocolatey
