Mann River (RIVER), NSW Details
Description
A perennial stream rising in Llangothlin Lake about 10 km ESE of Ben Lomond. It flows generally north north east east north east and north for about 180 km into the Clarence River about 16 km south west of Baryulgil. Its main tributaries are the Yarrow Henry and Nymboida Rivers.
Origin
Thought to be named after Samuel Furneaux Mann who held a squatting licence for a short time in the region northwest of Glenn Innes. (Atchison 1976).
