History
Name submitted by D Martin through the Mangrove Mountain Districts Community Group. Supported by Darkinjung Aboriginal Land Council and the NP&WS Gosford Council and Forests.
Description
A gully which begins at a point 7.1 km NE of Basalt Hill and 3.5 km N of Kooree Trigonometrical Station. It is 2.0 km in length and flows in a generally south-westerly direction to its confluence with Boomerang Creek.
Meaning
`Spirits ghosts white people.`
Origin
Aboriginal. From the oral history of the Darkinjung people as submitted by D Martin through the Mangrove Mountain Districts Community Group.
