A suburb about 2.5 km W by N of Greenhills Trig. Station and about 2 km SSE of The Cross Roads. Boundaries within the Campbelltown Council area shown on map GNB4174.
Origin
Named by Dr Throsby a surgeon. On his retirement in 1809 he was granted 1500 acres on which he built his homestead named Glenfield after his birthplace a village near Leicester in England. (Source: William A Bayley - History of Campbelltown.)
