Yurulbin (POINT), NSW Details
History
Name was changed from Long Nose Point at request of Leichhardt Council in August 1992. See also RAHS Journal V XXX1Pt 1 page 522 and MSB Journal Port of Sydney Vol 9 No 2 Sept 1965.
Description
A point situated at the northernmost tip of Snails Bay a little to the east of where the Lane Cove and Parramatta Rivers meet and conjoin to form Sydney Harbour.

Yerroulbin meaning swift running water (Journal of the Royal Australian Historical Society)
Origin
