Description
A settlement on the western bank of Berowra Creek and beside Neverfail Bay. Situated about 4km WNW of Cowan. The point named Collingridge Point lies within this locality.
Origin
George Alphonse Collingridge b 29 Oct 1847 at Godlington Oxfordshire studied architecture and wood-engraving in Paris. He took up a selection of 88 acres on Berowra Creek in 1880 and became known as the Hermit of Berowra. He promoted the district through art and taught at Barker College. He died in 1931.
