History
The name was suggested by the proposer Adam Walkear of CharnwoodACT.
Description
A mountain 4 km S of Tinderry Peak and 8 km WSW of Mount Woolpack.
Origin
According to the proposer this mountain is a towering formation of exposed granite. Birds of numerous species...fly across its face speaking in many tongues as it were. Babel- the city and tower described in Genesis xi where the confusion of tongues took place.(OED)
