The trig. station was established in about 1964 by surveyors from the Royal Australian Survey Corps and originally referred to as E354 Thurmylae.

A Trig. Station located 7 km N of the locality of Enngonia 10 km S of Belalie Bore and 30 km SSE of the historical locality of Barringun.
