Description
A bay within Hen and Chicken Bay about 2 km NE by E of Strathfield.
Origin
Named after the 58 French Canadian prisoners transported in 1840 after the abortive rebellion of 1837-38. They were housed in the adjoining Longbottam Stockade Gaol. (Drummoyne Council notes on file)
