A lofty precipitous mountain range forming part of the eastern edge of the southern tableland bounding the Illawarra district in the west extends from the Cambewarra Range in the vicinity of Bellawongarah in a generally NNE direction for 92 km to intersect the sea coast 1 km S of Coalcliff.
