History
Henry John Cornish (c.1840 - 1923) sub-divided Portions 61 and 71 in 1878 for urban occupation. Cornishtown is still locally known with housing still within the area.
Description
An area on the eastern edge of Cobar bounded by Government Road in the north Old Bourke Road to the west Nyngan Road to the south and eastwards of Brickworks Road in the east.
