Description
A reserve extending from the southern side of Marie Street to the northern side of Geoffrey Street at Wentworthville. It occupies Lot 25 of DP 31352 Lot 10 of DP 235046 and Lot X of DP 31144.
Origin
Henry Birk (6.10.1834 - 20.1.1906) was the first postmaster of Toongabbie Post Office. He started the PO at his farm on 1.8.1887 and remained until December 1903 when his son Mr FW Birk took over on 1.1.1904. Mr FW Birk remained in the position until 1922 when he sold the Post Office with the farm attached to it to Mr Russell.
