Origin
Wilson Corlis (07.04.1904 - 28.08.1994) was a general practioner teaching fellow lecturer and member of various prominent committees. In 1984 he received the Order of Australia Medal. He was in general practice in Sussex Inlet from 1981-1984 and continued community work until his death. (Shoalhaven Council naming proposal dated 31 7 1989)
