Description
A locality being the eastern section of the plains known as Patricks Plains. It is bounded on the north by the town of Singleton on the east by the Hunter River on the west by the Main Northern Railway and on the south by Minimbah Creek.
Origin
According to the Aldine History of NSW 1888 (p621) John Howe led a party which came to high land in front of Neotsfield on the 17th March [1818] and in honour of Irelands great saint named the place (now known as Neotsfield) Patricks Plains.
