Description
Rises at the intersection of Moonbi and Great Dividing Ranges and flows generally north westerly into the Namoi River at the northern most corner of the County of Inglis. The river flows through Bendemeer.
Origin
Reputedly named after a Mr H. Macdonald who occupied land in the area for R. Wiseman. (Atchison 1976).
