Flying Fox No 2 Creek (GULLY), NSW Details
Description
A watercourse about 2 km long. It rises about 5 km SE by S of the locality of Browns Road and flows generally SW into Gallahers Creek.
Origin
Name originated from large group of Flying Foxes who used these creeks as campsites. Up till about 50 years ago local orchardists used to have organised hunts to reduce the number of Flying Foxes that attacked their orchards the name of the creeks refers to the 3 camps where the Flying Foxes could be found.
