Description
A reserve at Granville extending north from Parramatta Road to Gray Street and including most of the land from Alfred Street to Arthur Street. It occupies lots 8-26 28 and 30 of DP 1250 and lots 1-5 of DP 128571 Lot 1 of DP 336811 lots 1 and 2 of DP 537684 Lot 359 of DP 752028 Lot B of DP 305546 and Lot 1 of DP 953837.

Frank Sidney Garside (......1903-......1963) a longtime resident of Granville was well-known and respected in the community because of his sporting activities as a player and senior administrator. A President of Granville Soccer Club for 18 years he was instrumental in developing the park as a soccer ground. (Garside A F son)
