Molonglo River (RIVER), NSW Details
Description
A perennial stream rising in the west slopes of the Great Dividing Range near Wild Cattle Flat about 10 km south south east of Captains Flat. It flows north north west and west north west for about 83 km through the township of Queanbeyan where it is joined by the Queanbeyan River thence through Canberra into the Murrumbidgee River about 10 km west of this city. The Scrivener Dam on it retains the waters of Lake Burley Griffin.
