Blockup Gorge (GORGE), NSW Details
Description
A pass for the Shoalhaven River being a bottleneck for the flow of water during flood hence the name Blockup. The restriction is caused by canyon walls extending directly to the waterline on both banks the length of the Blockup being only as long as the wall on the western bank which extends 400m SE from the mouth of Spring Creek.
