Name suggested by Annie Nielson of WHaT Bush Care as part of Parramatta Councils efforts to name its parks.
Description
A reserve on the southern side of Derbyshire Avenue Toongabbie with access to Blain Street. It occupies Lot 63 of DP 400778 Lot 2 of DP 515928 and Lot 17 of DP 208589.
Origin
Ambrose Hallen (......1845 - ..........) was a legendary farmer and grandson of William Lawson. Blind from the age of six he owned a large poultry farm in Ballandella Road Toongabbie. In 1893 he won first prize in a special Department of Agriculture event. (Sargeant D A The Toongabbie Story 1964 pp. 86-87)
