A small island in Wallis Lake situated between Miles Island and Godwin Island and Godwin Island. Located about 1km SSW of Forster Towers Trig. Station and 2500 metres W by S of Bennetts Head.

Named after the Leon family that have historical ties with the Forster-Tuncurry area.
