Name suggested by Adrian Jackson in naming competition conducted in 1994 by Cattai Catchment Management Committee.
Description
A stream rising in Por 131 on the eastern side of Cliftonville Road Maroota about 3.2 km north east of Cornelia T.S. and flowing generally north for 3.5 km into the Lower Half Moon Bend of the Hawkesbury River.
Origin
Named after Israel Leet an early settler and shipbuilder of the area.
