Woosters Creek (CREEK), NSW Details
History
The name was proposed by the Nabiac Landcare group in 1994. A name was required so that the creek could be included in the groups Landcare plan.
Description
A creek about 7.5 km in length rising about 500 metres south of Mount Talawahl and flowing in a generally SE direction to enter Pipeclay Creek. The point of entry is about 300 metres N by E of the site of Pipeclay Creeks entry into the Wallamba River.
Origin
The name comes from the name of the family who own a property through which the creek flows. The Woosters were early settlers in the area.
