Description
An urban place within the suburb of Ultimo.
Origin
The colonys first road was built in 1794 to the farms at Parramatta joining up with George St and the present Railway Square. It used to be called George St West or the Parramatta Rd but after being widened in 1906 when the Central Railway Station was built it became known as The Broadway. (Sydney Suburbs K Anderson 1989).
