Oxley Rivulet (GULLY), NSW Details
History
Name was proposed by Ian Willis of Camden as part of the Upper Nepean Catchment Management Committees creek naming competition which was completed in March 1997.
Description
A gully which runs from an area in Spring Farm about 0.72 km SSW of the Camden Bypass bridge over Richardson Road at Elderslie. The gully is about 2.8 km in length and flows in a generally north-westerly direction to its confluence with Narellan Creek about 1.0 km S of the Kirkham Lane bridge over that creek.
Origin
The watercourse runs through land granted to the Surveyor General and explorer John Oxley (.......... - ..........) (More information requested from Council in May 1998)
