Pelican Park (RESERVE), NSW Details
History
The reserve is part of DP 755251 which is currently known as `Memorial Park`. However Council states that this section is commonly referred to as `Pelican Park`.
Description
A reserve on the corner of Wharf Road and Brick Wharf Road Woy Woy. It is the western end of the area covered by DP 755251 and extends to the eastern end of the tidal baths. The reserve is a playground area.
Origin
According to Gosford City Council pelicans are a feature of this area and are continuously feeding in Woy Woy channel and resting on the foreshore of the reserve.
