Gathercole Park (RESERVE), NSW Details
Description
A reserve on the eastern foreshores of Crangon Bay within Lake Macquarie near Nords Wharf. It comprises lot 13 DP 23483. It is located at the southern end of Marine Parade.
Origin
The reserve is named after Alfred James Gathercole ( 10-02-1989 Pastor in the Seventh Day Adventist Church and Elder of Swansea Church who retired to Nords Wharf in 1965. He took an active interest in Nords Wharf community affairs and was chairman of the Progress Assoc. for 15 years.
