Description
A peninsula on Port Jackson about 3 km S of Cremorne.
Origin
An officer and a party of Men from HMS Sirius cultivated the island and it was believed that that was why it was named as Garden Island. Maritime Services Board Port of Sydney Vol9 No2 Sept 1965.
