Description
A watercourse about 11.5 km long. It rises from a drain in the suburb of Birrong and flows generally N then ENE into Parramatta River.
Origin
So named in 1788 due to abundance of ducks in the area. P. 325. (information from RAHS Journal Vol 31 Pt 5)
