For many years this reserve has been known and signposted as `Roy Wood Reserve`. The matter of the name was brought up the Council meeting of 25 July 1995 Minute No.326.

Description

A foreshore reserve adjacent to Sandy Point Road Corlette. It occupies Lot 356 of DP 27845.

Roy Wood (13.07.1910 - 05.07.1995) was a former Port Stephens councillor and community activist. (Wood Margaret 1997 see GNB4249)
