Description
A watercourse about 134 km long flowing generally ESE then SE then S then SE by S into New Lake. Rising about 17.5 km NNW of Broken Hill and about 11.5 km E of Umberumberka Trig. Station.

STEPHENS CREEK - So named by Sturt in 1844 after the then Chief Justice of N.S.W. P. 70 (Infr. from RAHS Journal Vol 34 Pt 2)
