History
Early records shows that Shell Harbour was formally known as Yerrowah. Also the harbour of Peterborough was soon after called Shell Harbour because of the great quantity of shells.
Description
A coastal suburb which includes Shell Harbour harbour and Bass Point. It adjoins the suburbs of Dunmore on the south Flinders on the west and Barrack Point on the north.
