The Name Windy: An old A.A. Co. Warrah name. On the 1862 map of County Buckland the name is shown in Windy Point Station. This was an A.A. Co. station within the Warrah grant and so remains to-day. The name was probably in use on Warrah well before 1860. Windy Ridge appears on county maps a little later though it might well have been
