Description
A mountain approximately 11 km south-east of the town of Blackville. It is surmounted by Parry Trigonometrical Station.

A personal name.
Origin
Sir W.E. Parry Commissioner for the A.A. Company visited and travelled over the area in 1832. The mountain the most conspicuous feature in the Warrah grant was named after him very soon afterwards. The name appears on the 1862 and all later county maps.
